We return to this wonderful recital series in the beautiful All Saints Church for a "Summer Spectacular"!

We will base our programme around "storytelling". We will play a number of different pieces but try to link them all with a little story which we tell - just a few sentenses for each piece to set the scene and move the story along a little.

I will play flute and sing, and the repertoire will include pieces by Schubert, Mozart, Dowland, Ibert and Elgar.

A return to the beautiful and intimate acoustic of St Leonard's Bengeo near Hertford.

The first half of the concert will be traditional (Couperin, Piazzolla, Mozart and Bach) and the second half will be a storytelling half. We will tell a single story, illustrated with pieces from our repertoire, including Schubert, Elgar, Delibes, Ibert, Takemitsu and more.

It will be a fabulous concert which we're really looking forward to. Please come.
